France - Hauteford to Chauvigny

Here is a closeup of the work that has gone into creating the altar for the church of Compreignac. We had lunch in the square outside the church which was called the 'Place du 8 Mai 1945'. We have stopped at a few towns now like this, that commemorate the 8th May as the date they were liberated from the Germans.
